Vigil for Veterans

On this anniversary of D-Day – June 6, 2012– stand vigil with Canadian Veterans of all eras as we implore the government to treat us fairly!
Say no to the SISIP Appeal!

  • Will the government waste more money appealing the SISIP claw-back ruling - a decision made in favour of veterans?!

  • Will CF members and Veterans, who have been subjected to the discriminatory lump sum award under the New Veterans Charter, be forced to launch a class action lawsuit against the government they have served to insure their Charter Rights are protected and they are compensated fairly?

If you are, you need to know about Equitas and the efforts being made by the national law firm, Miller Thomson, to launch a class action suit challenging the constitutional validity of veterans' disability settlements under the 2006 New Veterans Charter. The suit is based on veterans' constitutional right to protection under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
