No New Posts D-Day Vigil 2013

The Canadians Veterans Advocacy will be organizing a NATIONAL VIGIL in support of those wounded in Afghanistan yet who are subject to the grossly unfair legislation of the New Veterans Charter. We stand for the widows, the mothers, fathers, and children of the fallen and the wounded and we shall stand resolute until the One Veterans, One Standard priciples have been restored and Parliament honours the sacred obligation to those they send in Harm's Way.

This board has been provided to inform veterans, community leaders, patriotic Canadians, politicians of all levels about the efforts we are making in order to draw attention to the wounded warriors living within our communities and prepare for hundreds of seriously injured/wounded serving members as they are released medically as a consequence of not being able to pass the Universality of Standards fitness test. We seek to create an environment across the nation inclusive of all levels of government, and possessive of the social health and educational and employment security these men and women and their families deserve.

No New Posts The Lump Sum Award - Parliament abandonment of our troops/veterans.

The Canadians Veterans Advocacy's primary responsibility to our troops, those to whom we have passed the torch, is to have this discriminative Lump Sum policy repealed and the life time obligation to which Parliament is indebted restored. Our Afghanistan veterans are sustaining terrible injuries, a mere 276 K for a seriously injured veteran is obscenely cheap compared to the compensation provided prior to 2006 when Parliament HONOURED its Sacred responsibility to Canada's sons and daughters after they suffered the consequences of war on Canada's behalf.

When in the opposition, Prime Minister Harper promised that all veterans affected by the deadly defoliant would receive compassionate care and compensation. No New Posts Canadian Army Veteran Motorcycle Units

Since the Canadian Army Veteran (CAV) Motorcycle Units were started in 2003, they have assisted, and continue to assist, numerous charities in achieving their monetary goals. Charity Event Riding and Community Support Events are an integral part of many of our members CAV/VAC Adventure-No one 'Has' to participate in these as members but there are always those willing to assist International, National and local charities. There are certain charities such as ICROSS and the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care that the CAV/VAC supports directly with all the monies raised going directly to these charities. The CAV/VAC also assists other events such as the Red Ride and Ride for Dad by providing volunteers and participating in the rides. The CAV/VAC will continue to support charities and fund raisers and all members are to be congratulated for the continued support that they offer.

No New Posts Project Base Line

Project Base Line is a library anyone can use from the comfort of their own home. It is meant to enrich the learning environment that is separate from traditional talk site approaches. Its design is safe so that people can be detached from all the clutter of others' suggestions, which can leave people more confused than they were in the first place. Many organizations offer transferable information that assists families and sufferers within any scope or topic of the mind. PBL contains organizations, workbooks, books, websites and free online courses facilitated by reputable universities. New folders of interest will be added during the course of my studies as a graduate student with the University of Liverpool. This international research institution ranks in the top 1% in the World. Such information will be able to assist both clinicians and individuals seeking treatment options, answers or perhaps reassurance.

No New Posts CVA Operations Board - Budget 2011

This board will provide veterans advocates and patriots the opportunity to participate in CVA operations as we fight to have this ludicrous proposal excluded from this years deficit orientated budgetary cuts, cuts which, when added to the 226 cut already proposed equated to over a half BILLION DOLLARS! The situation is serious, veterans need your help! Step UP!
