Lets take an example. PTSD

# Common Medical Conditions Which may Result in Whole or in Part From Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and/or its Treatment

    * Sexual dysfunction (e.g. erectile dysfunction)
    * Irritable bowel syndrome

Now this is what they say, it does not mean its only that. Other condition related to PTSD-Anxiety are Bruxism, related to Bruxism is Temporomandibular joint disorder. So you can be pensioned for PTSD and consequential pensioned for Bruxism and then consequential to Bruxism, pensioned for Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ). We know that TMJ can cause Tinnitus, hearing loss. You know the trend.

This bring me to the most important aspect when you are applying for a pension. Ensure that you look at the Entitlement Eligibility Guidelines.

Example. Lets say you are applying for PTSD. Make sure that all related problems to PTSD are documented and submitted with the claim. IE VAC includes this in PTSD:

Medical Conditions Which are to be Included in Entitlement/Assessment

    * Anxiety disorders
    * Mood disorders
    * Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
    * Adjustment disorders
    * Personality disorders
    * Eating disorders
    * Substance-related disorders
    * Dissociative disorders
    * Pain disorders/chronic pain syndromes

If you do not properly document all your conditions initially then you may end up with problems afterward. EX. If you develop a condition above, they VAC, will turn around and say it was already assessed and included in the initial claim.

If you are in need of advice on other medical condition you may contact me.
