TORONTO — A project funded by the federal government is asking veterans of the Korean War to share their stories and mementoes.

The Memory Project is expanding after two years chronicling the experiences of Second World War veterans.

Additional funding has also been earmarked to continue collecting stories from Second World War vets.

Heritage Minister James Moore made the announcement today at HMCS York in Toronto.

Veterans who volunteer for the project record their wartime memories on video.

The clips are posted on a website, along with images of artifacts and memorabilia.
